AIM OF THE POSITION

Our Salesforce Sr. Administrator will bring Salesforce competence and bandwidth to a team of highly-collaborative team mates.

The Sr. Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the administration of Salesforce.com; this includes system configuration, (maintenance, system enhancements/upgrades, etc.), creation of reports and dashboards, end-user training and data integrations, ensuring data hygiene and integrity. This role collaborates with functional leaders to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert Salesforce reporting advice, training, end user documentation and assistance. o Understand and maintain Process Builder processes and Flows.
  • Responsible for configuration, design, functionality and end-user support of the Salesforce.com platform. o Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within Salesforce.com.
  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security).
  • Establish and implement change control and best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather & analyze requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality. Translate approved solutions into actionable deliverables, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency.
  • Manage data imports, database de-duping and cleanup

  • Lead and manage all regulatory documentation requirements in line with Agendia’s Quality Management System o Coordinate and support third party and proprietary app integrations and updates with Salesforce such as (Conga, iContact, ZaapIT, etc.)
  • Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritizes, designs and facilitates successful implementation and adoption of new processes
  • Collaborate with Business Operations, Information Technology and other business stakeholders to drive high levels of data integrity and operational reliability of our standardized business analytics, tools and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce end-user issues  o Train new and existing users using Salesforce application according to their job role/function and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help related materials for users as database applications are developed o Implement and maintain middleware integrations, such as with Dell Boomi.
  • Work staff in various departments to understand, develop, and document clear requirements within Salesforce. Design, implement, document, build, test and deploy updates and enhancements within Salesforce, in adherence to industry best practices.
  • Provide input to developers regarding future development strategy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Salesforce training and certificates of any kind are highly desired.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (even a lapsed certification) is a big plus o Demonstrated experience in developing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers in SFDC.
  • Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction
  • Strong expert report preparation experience
  • Strong user permissions management experience o User of ask tracking / team collaboration tools.
  • Creating solutions from user requirements.
  • Experience maintaining managed packages and integrations is highly desired.
  • Managing yourself: taking initiative, managing your own time.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Salesforce security controls
  • Experience supporting and training end-users
